The Case Western Reserve University men’s soccer program strives to be one of the premier college programs to combine academics and soccer. Since 2003, the program has received the Team Academic Award each academic year for earning a team GPA of a 3.0 or better. In 2015-2016, the team earned a 3.62 GPA, which was the highest among all Division III men’s soccer programs. Currently, the team GPA is a 3.51 with 18 of 28 players earning a 3.5 GPA or better.
On the field, the program has advanced to the NCAA Division III men’s soccer championships in 2006, 2011 and 2018. The 2018 season marked the program’s best season with the team advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals and finishing the year #7 nationally in both the United Soccer Coaches and D3soccer.com Top 25 polls.
In the recruiting process, our programs works to identify players who are able to manage the rigorous academic and athletic demands CWRU places on its student-athletes. Attending camp will expose you to some of these demands while giving yourself the opportunity to learn and be evaluated by our coaching staff. Over 75% of our current roster attended a CWRU Soccer Academy at one point in their recruitment process.
